An International Seminar on “Indian Knowledge System” was successfully organized on 13 February 2026 at Dewan VS Group of Institutions, Meerut, under the visionary leadership of Chairman Mr. Vievek Dewan. The seminar aimed to promote India’s rich knowledge heritage while reinforcing the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati, symbolizing the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge.
The seminar was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Chief Guest Mr. Basil Bharadia, Guest of Honour Mr. A. M. Newman, and Special Guest Prof. Ramesh Chandra Gaur representing the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. Eminent academicians from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University and Chaudhary Charan Singh University enriched the event with their insightful deliberations.
A key highlight of the seminar was the formal launch of the book “From Gurukul to Global: The Journey of Indian Education System”, authored by Dr. Shruti Arora and Prof. Dr. Munendra Kumar. The publication traces the evolution of India’s education system and underscores its relevance in the context of the National Education Policy 2020.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from scholars and academicians across India and abroad, culminating in a formal vote of thanks and leaving attendees inspired by the depth and relevance of India’s knowledge traditions.
